Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is a distinguished Buddhist master, highly appreciated in the Dharma centres all over the world thanks to his erudition and the communicative style of his teachings, which he gives in English.

He was recognized as the rebirth of the abbot of the Monastery of Rigul in Tibet. He has the diploma of Acharya of the University of Varanasi, and His Holiness the Sixteenth Gyalwa Karmapa gave him the title of Khenpo. He also received the title of Lopön Chenpo of the international Nyingma Society.

The principal Masters of Ringu Tulku were the Sixteenth Gyalwa Karmapa and Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. He studied and practiced under the guidance of a great number of outstanding lamas of all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. His publications include a book on the first Jamgön Kongtrul and the Rime movement.

Rinpoche is one of my main teachers. I feel very close to Rinpoche’s way of teaching, his humor and simplicity are very inspiring. Rinpoche is definitely one of the Tibetan lamas who mostly influenced me. I feel extremely grateful for having met him.
